GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) is the maximum legal weight your vehicle can be — including the vehicle itself, fuel, passengers, and all cargo. Many American trucks, when fitted with accessories, canopies, tray bodies, or heavy gear, exceed their factory-rated GVM. This is illegal and can void your insurance. A GVM upgrade is a certified engineering modification that legally increases this rating, so you can carry what you need without risk.
Our GVM upgrades are performed by certified automotive engineers and comply with Australian law. Under the Australian Consumer Law and Competition and Consumer Act, manufacturers cannot simply void a warranty because you've had a third-party modification. They would need to prove the modification directly caused any fault. We recommend discussing this with your manufacturer and we can provide documentation to support your position if needed.
