2-3" Lift Kit with Fox 2.0" Snap Ring Shocks suits Toyota Hilux (18-25) by BDS Suspension
BDS introduces a high-performance suspension upgrade for the popular Toyota Hilux, designed to deliver exceptional ride quality, strength, and off-road capability. This system features heavy-duty BDS upper control arms paired with Fox Adventure Series 2.0" Shocks.
Each setup is built to handle tough terrain while improving handling and control, both on and off the road. The rear of the vehicle benefits from a collaboration between BDS Engineering and Fox Ride Engineering, with rear shocks precisely tuned to work in harmony with the Hilux’s aggressive factory spring rate. This ensures a balanced, responsive ride and maximum performance under load or during spirited driving.
Whether you're loading up, heading off-road, or simply want a more composed ride, BDS delivers the suspension solution the Hilux was meant to have.
Adventure Series 2.0 Coil-Over Snap Ring IFP Shocks
Our Adventure Series 2.0 Coil-Over Snap Ring IFP shocks are a true bolt-on solution, loaded with a long list of features that set them apart. A custom-molded spring seat allows you to reuse the factory front springs and mounting hardware while providing excellent on- and off-road performance at an affordable price point. Built on the same proven design as the FOX 2.0 Performance Series, these shocks utilize a precision impact-extruded steel body for increased strength, durability, and corrosion resistance in demanding conditions.
Inside each shock is an internal nitrogen-charged gas reservoir, contained by an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) that separates the nitrogen from the shock oil. This design prevents cavitation and oil aeration commonly found in factory twin-tube shocks, allowing maximum performance from FOX’s factory-tuned, high-flow piston and precision valving. Three predetermined snap-ring preload settings allow for 1”, 2”, or 3” of adjustable front lift, making it easy to dial in the desired stance.
Paired with FOX 2.0 Adventure Series rear shocks, this kit delivers a comfortable on-road ride with predictable, controlled off-road handling in even the toughest terrain. The result is a well-balanced suspension upgrade that improves ride quality, control, and confidence without sacrificing daily drivability.

BDS wheel positioning guidance
Meeting a backspacing limit does not guarantee wheel fitment. Check wheel diameter, tyre size, brake clearance, suspension and all kit-specific requirements.
Results are approximate. The calculation allows an additional 1 inch for the wheel's two rim flanges (approximately 0.5 inch each). Actual flange dimensions vary between wheels.
Understanding wheel measurements
What is wheel backspacing?
The distance from the wheel mounting surface to the outermost edge of the inner rim flange, measured in inches.
What is wheel offset?
The distance between the wheel mounting surface and the wheel centreline, measured in millimetres.
Why does wheel width matter?
Two wheels with the same backspacing but different widths will have different offsets.
Why does BDS specify backspacing?
It helps position the wheel relative to steering and suspension parts, but is only one part of confirming fitment.
